I’ve had the privilege of knowing Alicia for over a decade. The first time I heard her sing and play guitar in her metal band, she absolutely melted my face off. I was lucky enough to work with her in my recording studio—an experience that deepened my passion for sound and reinforced my DJ philosophy: everything should sound amazing.
So when Alicia told me she and her husband, Alex, had rented a sprawling 60-acre estate for their wedding, I knew I had to be a part of it. DJing a wedding is more than just making people dance; it’s about orchestrating every detail, managing logistics, and ensuring everything flows seamlessly—especially when it’s a private estate wedding where, more often than not, you’re running the entire show.

Alicia, with her own experience in event production, had a vision. We spent time crafting every detail to make her day perfect, including one of the most epic entrances I’ve ever seen. As Alicia and Alex entered the reception tent, AC/DC was blasting at full volume—but it wasn’t just a recording. No, Alicia and Alex played themselves in, guitars in hand, with a full band behind them. Beyond just DJing, I got to flex my mixing skills, engineering a live band while announcing my friend and her husband as they kicked off the night with a full-blown classic rock moment.
Being part of someone’s wedding is always an honor. But when it’s a friend—someone as incredible as Alicia—it’s even more meaningful. She had a vision, we built a plan, and together, we made it happen. And the fact that her father was there to witness it all? That was the cherry on top of an already legendary night.

The night was packed with unforgettable highlights. The cocktail hour took place at a pool straight out of a movie, with a curated playlist that Alicia and I put together, setting the perfect mood before the night really took off. Then, Alicia, Alex, and their band tore the house down—a moment that was as electrifying as it was moving.
But the most touching part of the night? When Alicia delivered her father’s speech for him. A few years ago, he had a stroke, and the fact that he was able to be there was already emotional. As Alicia spoke his words, professing her love and appreciation for the man who raised her, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
