Adrienne & Patrick – Providence Library

Adrienne and Patrick were referred to me specifically because they were looking for something rare: a DJ who could also play piano. I’ve been playing since I was six years old, so I always say I’m a musician first and a DJ second. Apparently, finding someone who can do both is like spotting a unicorn — so I was thrilled to be the right fit for them.

I often say that I know within the first minute of a conversation whether I’ll really connect with a couple — and with Adrienne and Patrick, it was instant. Their energy was electric. As a wedding DJ (and pianist), I’m representing the couple to their closest family and friends — so it’s essential that we vibe. With these two, there was no question. We were absolutely cut from the same cloth.

Their choice of venue — the stunning Providence Public Library — only added to the magic. It’s one of my favorite places to perform: timeless, elegant, and full of character. I’d actually forgotten they had a Steinway B Grand Piano in the main room — one of the finest pianos out there — so when I arrived, it felt like an unexpected bonus. A musician’s dream.

Working with Adrienne and Patrick was effortless. They were both clear and intentional about their musical vision, yet completely trusting in my ability to bring it to life. That balance — assertive yet easygoing — made the entire process a joy. From the moment guests arrived to the last song of the night, everything unfolded seamlessly. It truly felt like a fairytale.

As always, I made sure to check in with them at the end of the evening — and the looks on their faces said it all. They were glowing. That moment — seeing two amazing people radiating pure joy — is why I do what I do. I floated all the way home.

Adrienne and Patrick, thank you for trusting me with your day. It was an honor — and an absolute blast.
